Sleeping up to six guests, this inviting cottage offers a prime location just 176 yards (a 3-minute walk) to the beach and an easy 7-minute stroll to Seaside’s Central Square, where more than 40 shops and restaurants await. Positioned along Robert’s Way and backing up to Rosewalk Park, Bridgeport offers a rare blend of walkability, privacy, and peaceful park views in true old Seaside style.

Outdoor Living Overlooking Rosewalk Park

One of Bridgeport’s most charming features is its screened rear porch, overlooking the sandy paths and shaded trees of Rosewalk Park—a hidden gem within Seaside. With bar-top seating for two and a porch swing, this laid-back space is perfect for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or unwinding in the evening while the kids play below. The park setting adds a quiet, tucked-away feel while still being just moments from the energy of town.

Comfortable First-Floor Living

Inside, the first level offers an easy, open living space with comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV—ideal for gathering after a day at the beach. The kitchen sits just off the living area and includes bar-top seating for four, creating a simple, functional space for casual meals and conversation. The layout encourages time spent together, whether relaxing indoors or heading out for the day.

Two Bedrooms & Flexible Sleeping Spaces

The first floor includes two bedrooms for added convenience. The queen guest bedroom features natural light, a flat-screen TV, storage space, and a private ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and walk-in shower. The second bedroom is a bunk room that sleeps two and includes a window seat, closet space, and a loft area accessed by a ship’s ladder—well-suited for kids. A nearby full bathroom with a shower serves this space.

Upstairs, a secondary living area provides an additional spot to relax, with a sofa and cushioned seating. Just off this space is a cozy sleeping nook with a full bed, accommodating two more guests. Step outside to the open-air upper balcony with Adirondack-style seating for two, where you can take in the quiet park views and coastal breeze.

This cute cottage had everything we needed! A comfortable master suite with adjoining bath, a perfect second room with bunk beds and a fun loft area, a comfortable sitting area downstairs and a delightful sitting area up a half flight of stairs in a decent sized loft area that had another full mattress in a little nook to the side. Plenty of outdoor space to hang out as well in a screened porch below and open deck above. Rental agency was always at the ready to help. Would definitely rent this cottage again! As far as location, there is no bad location here. I do enjoy the quiet of Roberts Way though. As to Seaside itself, it just gets better and better and weve been coming here for 30 years. It is truly my happy place!

Only 3 min walk to beach, 3 min walk to pool, 3 min walk to town center. Never drove the car once after arriving. Great location just off busy 30A. Not too close, not too far.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed Bridgeport cottage in Seaside, Florida. We loved the location - it was just steps to the beach and the main shopping/restaurant area of town. The complimentary bikes were a very nice addition - we were able to get everywhere we wanted by either walking or riding bikes. The house was clean and comfortable. Decorated very nicely and the kitchen had all of the essentials. We really appreciated the homeowners collection management company - they were very helpful! We will definitely be back and highly recommend Bridgeport!
