Dune House is one of the town's rare jewels, located on a double beachfront lot overlooking the Gulf. Architect Scott Merrill designed this house in respect to the original cottage ambiance of early Seaside, Florida, and to take advantage of the spectacular setting. Dune House served as the home to the director of The Truman Show during the filming of this classic movie in Seaside.

The first floor features two bedrooms each with its own private ensuite bathroom. The first bedroom is a king primary bedroom has a private bathroom and a large porch off the primary to enjoy. The second guest bedroom is a queen with a private bath.

The second floor includes an open floor plan with kitchen, dining, and living room all connected. The dining area comfortably seats six and has glimpses of the gulf while you dine. The adjacent living room is surrounded by a wall of windows with stunning gulf views. The kitchen is adjacent to dining and living and there is a half bath on the second floor for guests.

(Please no children under the age of 10) 

* 5 night minimum for Summer 2023. 5 night minimum in Spring & Spring Break; 3 night minimum for Fall; 2 night minimum Winter. Sat to Sat 7 night minimum Summer 2024. Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration.

  • 2 parking passes for two-bedroom and larger homes are issued. A golf cart is considered a car.  Golf carts for non-homeowners visiting Seaside are prohibited. Special circumstances and medical needs requests require a golf cart permit.

We stayed at Dune House with friends for our anniversary celebration. It was exactly what we were looking for. The home is lovely & perfect for 2 couples. We rented extra bikes and either rode or walked to shops & dining. This was our first time using Homeowners & visiting Seaside. All of the staff were extremely helpful & quick to respond. We will definitely be visiting again!

Dune House is a true hidden gem. We loved everything about our stay! The ocean view from the den and back deck are unbeatable. We had coffee every morning under the pergola and it was so peaceful listening to the morning waves. The house and grounds are as gorgeous as the photos and we felt right at home immediately. It was clean and well appointed and so close to everything you need in terms of eating|drinking|socializing. We will definitely be back.
