Welcome to ‘Gimme Shelter’ in Seaside, Florida situated in the perfect location, and named after the owner’s favorite tune’, this coastal gem is sure to offer the ultimate reset! This completely renovated cottage is the perfect escape for two couples or a young family and has prime location steps to all things Seaside, Florida.

Upon arrival, guests can park and peacefully make their way down a shaded, tranquil footpath to reach the entryway of this beach home. Look around along the way to spy a plethora of stunning greenery, offering a mystical, ‘vacation’ feeling. At the front of the cottage is the perfect morning coffee setup with seating for two on an open-air porch. Step inside this modern cottage to be welcomed by contemporary designer furnishings with a coastal flair. The first level of this beach cottage offers two king master bedrooms each with their own renovated bathrooms. The first king master down has a flat screen TV, closet, and a modern bathroom with a tub & shower combo with a rain head and a shower wand.  The second king master bedroom down has a mounted flat screen TV, closet, and a renovated bathroom with a glass-enclosed walk-in shower with a rain head and a shower wand.

Head up to the second story to discover an open, modern, living space featuring a flat-screen Apple TV and ample comfortable seating with plenty of space to lounge and visit. Additionally, the second story is home to a convenient dining area with a dining table for 4, as well as a fully equipped, renovated open kitchen. Finally, ‘Gimme Shelter’ has a covered, balcony porch on the second level with outdoor dining for four with serene tree-top views. This home is perfect for anyone searching for the true beach experience!

Extras include a Sonos speaker system, Apple TV, washer/dryer, an outdoor shower and a gas grill.  If you need shelter from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Gimme Shelter will do it for you!

*5-night minimum Spring Break & Summer, 3 nights fall, 2 nights winter. Must be 25 to rent and sign the registration.

  • 2 parking passes for two-bedroom and larger homes are issued. A golf cart is considered a car. Golf carts for non-homeowners visiting Seaside are prohibited. Special circumstances and medical needs requests require a golf cart permit

We had the most amazing time staying at Gimme Shelter in Seaside, FL. Everything we needed to do was within walking distance and we only got in the car once to buy groceries at the beginning of our stay. The cottage was clean and well appointed and our only complaint was the mosquitoes, which were abundant outside at night. Other than that, we would definitely recommend this area and the property. We will come back for a visit soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at the Gimme Shelter cottage in Seaside! The location was terrific - close enough to walk everywhere! Bikes were provided for us, too! The cottage was clean and spacious - comfortable beds and a great front porch to sit in the afternoons! We were so impressed - we would love to stay here again!

Gimme Shelter is a gem! We loved the location, the setting and even the bright, cheery color! It made our vacation perfect. We were very close to everything in town - shops, restaurants, beach! The house was super clean and well decorated. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The kitchen was so nice! We can't wait to come back!
