O Happy Day is a bright and inviting Seaside, Florida vacation home located just six houses from the Gulf of Mexico. This charming coastal cottage features a distinctive orange exterior, private driveway parking, and a screened front porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing—ideal for morning coffee or relaxing evenings. Inside, the open living room offers soaring ceilings, designer furnishings, a large flat-screen TV, two club chairs, and a queen sleeper sofa.

OPEN-CONCEPT LIVING & UPDATED KITCHEN

The open-concept layout includes a dedicated dining room with a farmhouse table seating eight, perfect for family meals and gatherings. The adjacent kitchen is fully updated with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, bar seating for two, and generous cabinetry stocked with cookware. A side foyer provides access to the grill area, along with a rear laundry room for added convenience.

FIRST-FLOOR BEDROOMS & UPDATED BATHS

The first floor includes two bedrooms. The front king bedroom offers front porch access, closets, and use of a shared nearby full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom at the rear is a serene queen bedroom with an ensuite bath with walk-in shower and French doors opening to the rear screened porch.

SCREENED PORCH & PRIVATE FENCED YARD

The rear screened porch overlooks a fully fenced and gated private yard that extends from front to back. Outdoor amenities include comfortable seating, a picnic table for al fresco dining, and a lush lawn ideal for relaxing or yoga. An outdoor shower with separate access to the laundry and wet room provides a convenient rinse-off after beach days.

PRIMARY SUITE & ICONIC SEASIDE TOWER ROOM

Upstairs, the private primary suite features a king bed, large closet, and an ensuite bath with dual vanities and a tub/shower combination. A staircase leads to the enclosed Seaside tower room with a queen sleeper sofa, Juliet balcony, and elevated views across town—perfect for sunset watching.

This cottage is by far the best choice for convenience to everything. The floor plan is great and perfect for a small family. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the space in the living area is full of sunshine and charm. This is our second summer to visit and we will book it again in the future. The best is the distance to the beach close that the walk is great to get to your beach pavilion. Easy to get to the center of Seaside, great for night walks and 2 porches for some quiet time and meditation. We love it and will be back!

O Happy Day fits us to a T. Comfy communal spaces both indoors and out, roomy bedrooms and an airy tower space. It's a four after each adventure. The Homeowner's Collection personnel, as always, were attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

So originally we had booked a different house and got a call 2 days before our vacation that the AC was broken on that house and would we like to switch to this house instead. We were so bummed but then ended up falling in love with O Happy Day! The pictures dont do it justice and the location is perfect. We loved being able to walk into town via the little footpaths. All in all it was a wonderful week at a wonderful house and I will definitely be booking with Homeowners Collection again because of the way they handled the whole situation.

This was our second stay at Oh, Happy Day. Its a very comfortable house with two great porches, a tower view., etc. its a short walk to the beach and the adult swimming pool. Perfect for our family of four.
