If you’re coming to Seaside on a Sabbatical, there’s no better choice than ‘Sabbatical.’ This heavenly white cottage is the perfect place to unwind and de-stress from a period of hard work. Walking up the steps and making your way through the front door, you’ll find that you’re greeted by one of the most beautiful interiors in all of Seaside.

If you can avoid the temptation to hang out on the porch swing before going inside, you’ll first encounter the gorgeous living area, equipped with a comfy couch (sleeper sofa) and two lush white chairs across from the large flat-screen TV. Adjacent to that in the corner of the room are two more chairs next to bookcases and the fireplace (decorative only), the perfect spot to read your current book.

The dining and kitchen area has an array of windows that let in all the natural sunlight you could possibly need. Crack the windows while cooking and you’ve got the family chef’s perfect breezy spot to cook up a fresh Florida meal. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and high-top bar space. Two queen bedrooms, each with a private bath/shower, complete the first floor. Head upstairs to the second floor where you will find a modern updated kitchen with a double oven and induction stovetop, a large dining table, and an open-air balcony off the kitchen/dining area with gulf views. Sabbatical Lock Off 2 is yours to enjoy!

Our rental experience was great! The house is so nice, we absolutely loved both the upstairs and downstairs porches. There are a lot of stairs which was a little tough with a toddler, but that was the only negative for us. The location is so close to the beach and absolutely perfect. Homeowners Collection was great as well! We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great location and close to the beach. Loved the layout of the house especially the porches. There are a few things that need to be addressed..the toilet seat in one bedroom was pieces thrown together. People who did painting really left paint splatters all over floors. The faucets in bathrooms were loose and some of porch furniture completely rusted out. The glasses hanging on racks were coated with a film and had to be washed before using. The lights were out in the hall stairwell. But we would stay again place just needs to be a bit renovated.

I highly recommend Homeowner's Collection! They were extremely responsive and friendly. The home was clean and comfortable. Thank you for making our 10th trip a pleasurable one! A few notes about this property-- First, the location is great for a quick walk across the street to the beach or steps away from Seaside dining & shopping. Secondly, the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful and spacious.We did have a few specific comments about this particular property--1) I found the the steps very concerning. I am someone who has fallen on vacations before from missing the bottom step. When walking down in this house, you can't easily tell which is the bottom step. I had to put books on each of the last few steps to give us a visual cue. I would have been very concerned to have an elderly parent or young children in this house. There are a lot of steps! 2) We really wish the fireplace had been in working order. That would have been wonderful in the cool evenings, especially because the house felt drafty and we felt cold! Thank you for a great trip. We always love Seaside and this was our third successful rental with Homeowner's Collection!

Just like the title says, we couldn't have asked for a better location in Seaside! The entrance to the beach is directly across the street, and it's just steps away from the town center for restaurants and shopping! The home itself is beautiful, with the living room and bedrooms on the bottom floor, and a fully stocked kitchen and dining table on the top floor. We spent every morning and evening on the porch overlooking the ocean.Leading up to our reservation, the folks at Homeowner's Collection were very nice and responsive to every question and request that I sent their way, this company could not be any more professional!During the strange times we live in, we were concerned about cleanliness and sanitation, but were pleasantly put at ease to observe such a clean house when we arrived.I have already recommended this listing to my family and friends, and will certainly be booking with Homeowner's Collection again in the future!
