Step into This Side of Paradise, a beautiful blue-hued cottage calling for a fun-filled time in Seaside, Florida. Just a few houses from West Ruskin Pavilion lies this one-of-a-kind cottage perfect from floor to tower. Once you pull into the driveway large enough to fit two, you’ll be greeted by its spacious porch to enjoy some outside downtime before you start your day. The porch not only has armchairs and a porch swing, but another “fun-sized” porch swing that any kid will love!

Then, enter through the front doors to its gorgeous staircase and open living room. The living room is equipped with a large sofa, three armchairs, and a flat-screen TV for you to wind down and watch your favorite movie with your loved ones. There is also a dining space with room to fit six comfortably. Adjacent to the dining space is the open, updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and amenities that include a Nespresso cube, panini press and ice cream maker!

Downstairs you’ll also have a king bedroom with access to the rear porch as well as a queen bedroom that has access to the rear porch and a flat-screen TV. These bedrooms share a bright white full bathroom. The upstairs bedroom is a spacious king with a lounge area, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a bathtub. What makes this room unique is its private porch with a built-in hammock. The perfect setting to cozy up with a book or relax with a glass of wine.

The third level of this cottage gives you breathtaking views from its open tower with bar seating for four. An extra special amenity is the Big Green Egg and outside deck with seating to enjoy a home-grilled meal with family and friends.

Other extras include an outdoor shower and full-sized washer and dryer

I went to Seaside with myself and my 2 teenagers (18 and 16 years of age). We didnt want a place with hundreds of large condos and thousands of people on the beach. Pros- The condo location was perfect. Close to the town square and an easy walk to the beach- the bike rentals were amazing. I want expecting to enjoy it so much. It we wont for daily bike rides and mostly rode back in Watercolor where there are trails and other areas to explore- The Beach! The beach is wonderful and so relaxing. Its expensive to rent the chairs but the Cabana Man people were really good to work with and we loved knowing our chairs were setup for whenever we went down there- The House. We really enjoyed the house and space it gave us compared to a condo or hotel. We ate all our meals out but were able to keep snacks and drinks there for the evenings. The layout was very nice and we had plenty of room. Everything was very clean. We had a minor issue with the dryer but it was fixed the same day and the communication from the Homeowners Collection was superb. You will always run into issues at places but I judge more on the responsiveness so A+ here!-Seaside itself. If youve not been, its a great experience and fantastic pace to live at for the week. We ended up trying most of the restaurants and our faves were Pickles and Bud and Alleys Taco Bar. We arent super fancy sit down eaters so these were just our speed. You also need to try the cinnamon rolls at Black Bear and the coffee at Amavida was my morning starter each day. Cons; If I had to list off any cons, it would be the following. I only mention more so for awareness- Teenagers taking over the town. I have two teens and the first thing they noticed on the first night is how the evenings seem to be dominated by somewhat rude groups of teens who dont pay attention to anybody else- I feel like the first floor bedrooms c

From the moment we stepped into our cottage, we felt at home. The cottage itself was beautiful and yet comfortable. We had a lot of rain the week we were there, but didnt mind a bit as we all found our nooks to read or just relax. The location was perfect. We were both close to the central square and also steps from the beach. Walking around and enjoying the sights of the tree lined streets with their white picket fences was a favorite past time. Property management was super friendly, helpful and professional. I have never dealt such a fine group of people and have such a personal experience.
