Reminiscent of a Victorian-style home, the whimsical ‘Villa Whimsey’ cottage offers comfort and privacy in the beautiful Seaside. Greeted by a screened-in, wraparound porch, the welcoming home provides plenty of room for people-watching and outdoor dining, with an ideal Seaside location.

The ground floor of the cottage includes a queen primary suite, decked out in tropical décor, along with another queen-sized guestroom with a window seat and the addition of a first-floor bath. There’s also a private, screened-in porch off this level of the home.

The second floor of the pastel-hued home also features a vaulted ceiling in the main living area, creating the illusion of even more space in comfortable surroundings. It includes casual furnishings, plus a desk and a television. Meanwhile, a well-equipped kitchen provides the convenience of an island for extra prep room or for casual dining. There’s also a built-in dining area, surrounded by plentiful natural light. As well, there are two decks off this level, ideal for watching a spectacular sunset.

Head up to the third floor for the sleeping loft, complete with twin trundle beds. The top-level bath adds distinctive touches, including a crescent-shaped, stained glass window over a claw-foot tub. As well, this level looks down upon the spacious living area, with an interior balcony that opens up the space even more.

In addition, the cottage provides an ideal location for heading out to the beach and water, at home along Tupelo Street. The home sits just two doors down from the popular Tupelo Street Gazebo and is not far from a number of boutique stores, restaurants and various family-friendly areas of spectacular Seaside.  

Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration. 5-night minimum Spring, Spring Break and Summer | 3-night minimum Fall | 2-night minimum Winter

We stayed in Villa Whimsey and loved it. It is a 3 min walk to the beach, 4 min walk to town center and 1 min to fitness. All much faster on bikes. The management team was so helpful and responsive. The loft is a tub only and bathroom for kiddos or tiny adults as the ceiling is low. We had a great time and loved beach time, pool time and dinners at home with the grill and full kitchen. The town at night was the place to be! We hope to return and loved everything about Seaside.

I loved everything about this house! The location was perfect to the beach, the square and anywhere else youd want to go. Thoroughly enjoyed our adult family stay at Villa Whimsy! Kitchen was well stocked for meal prep. Plenty of space for family of 6. Location is near adult pool & fitness center. The house stayed nice and cool. Lovely cottage is gently used and quintessential Seaside. Highly recommend!

It's always a good day when in Seaside. Staying at Villa Whimsey, an older property, allowed us to experience the charm of what Seaside was, and is. The layout is very conducive to relaxation and fun. From the wrap around porch, to the decks in the back, and the open concept living area, it's a great place to leave all of the stresses and worries of life behind. It's in walking distance to all of the amenities that Seaside has to offer.

Cute cottage, very convenient to Seaside. The house is older, but well maintained. The temperature in the loft area was not as well regulated as the other parts of the house. The living room furniture could use an update (not very comfortable, and did not smell fresh). Check-out time is way too early! Overall, we were pleased.

Quaint Villa in Seaside

Seaside is a hidden gem and glad we found. This is the best street and pavilion for getting on beach. Quiet but only a few streets away from good food and shops. The house was open airy and nicely decorated. However wishi was a little cleaner. Was dusty, and had a lot of fine black hairs on couch and chairs and even a few in the master bed. Both queen beds were very uncomfortable as our backs hurt every morning. They definitely need to be changed. Other than that house was very nice and kitchen was fully stocked. We did have a hard time getting a hold of a Homeowners representative for questions we needed answered after checking in. I would highly recommend staying on Tupelo street in this villa or another property for ideal location. The beaches and sand are like none other and we will be back!

Property was great. Lots of room and great beds and decor. Master shower was broken and the mold needs to come off the outdoor porch roof. Otherwise it was great.
