For a family-friendly vacation in Seaside, FL, you want the perfect location that is near everything but still private enough for you and your family to spend quality time together.  Whatcha Dune is the answer.  The cottage is located across from Ruskin Park and near the Seaside Chapel.  The beach is just a few steps away.  The east and west end pools are equally close by for family fun in the sun. 

The open floor plan of this cottage is very welcoming and family-friendly.  The space gives everyone room to relax and enjoy their time together.  The airy kitchen is beautifully appointed with granite countertops and a breakfast bar that accommodates four.  Additional seating for two is located in a corner breakfast nook perfect for morning coffee.  Conveniently located near the kitchen, the dining area has comfortable seating for eight.  The dining area flows into the open living room with plenty of seating, natural light, and a large-mounted flat-screen TV.  Adjacent to the living room is a large open-air side porch with Adirondack seating perfect for afternoon beach breaks.  At the rear of the home off the living room is an additional open-air porch, the perfect place to enjoy grilling after a day at the beach.  This first floor has a full bathroom and an abundance of storage as well.

The second floor offers several sleeping options.  The generous primary bedroom contains a king-sized bed with a full bath.  The king features a large flat-screen TV and access to a furnished screened-in porch with relaxing treetop and street views.  The queen-sized bedroom also opens onto the screened porch. This second queen bedroom with a private TV shares a large double vanity Jack and Jill bathroom with the third guest room.  The third bedroom has two twin beds (can be configured as a king upon request), plenty of storage and a flat-screen mounted TV.  The third-floor bonus loft offers an additional two twin beds and a full bed.  The space includes a sitting area with a flat screen TV.  This is a great place for the younger people to hang out, play board games, or have movie night. 

The two porches are natural gathering places for your group.  They both run almost the entire length of the cottage.  The first-floor porch is open and furnished with easy Adirondack chairs.  The second-floor porch is screened with a lounge area featuring a sectional style outdoor sofa and an additional Adirondack seating area, plenty of outdoor room for everyone.  Both porches are perfect places to pass the time and relax while enjoying a glass of wine or morning coffee. 

This is a beautiful cottage where you can create memorable moments on your vacation.  The cottage is located on peaceful Forest Street.  The beach, the nearby pools, and parks make this cottage ideally situated in Seaside, Florida.  This is the perfect beach house when you are looking for beach vibes, and time in the sun! 

Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration. 5 night minimum-Summer, Spring & Spring Break | 3 night minimum Fall | 2 night minimum Winter

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Whatcha Dune. The house was very comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable sleeping arrangements for all 10 of us. We loved being so close to many amenities with short walks to several pools, playgrounds, and basketball courts. We could be in the heart of Seaside in just a few minutes getting ice cream, coffer, or mojitos. It was the perfect house in the perfect location for all of us. Lastly, the rental company was very responsive to all of our questions and always helpful.

The location was almost attached to "the sqaure", yet just far enough that it wasn't loud or busy at all. We didn't even need rental bikes although the kids got them to stroll around all over the town throughout the day. The famiy, dining and kitchen areas were larger than the pictures; plenty of space for us to spread out and watch a movie in the evenings. The mattresses and bedding were very comfortable and felt new! The house was very clean upon arrival. There were a few minor, picky inconveniences. The washing machine can only hold 3 bath towels or 2 beach towels at once (this is after stuffing them in). Also, the grill is a very old, small charcoal grill. We made most meals at home so I would have liked something a little more updated and user friendly to grill for 8-10 people. Lastly, they only supplied the bare minimum for toilet paper and paper towels. One toilet paper roll for the shared bathroom of the two bedrooms. For the price, those basic amenities seem like they would be supplied for the week.

Whatcha Dune was the perfect spot for our family on our recent trip to Seaside, FL. The house was close to the town square and just a short walk to the beach. It was decorated well and everyone had plenty of room. Beds were comfortable and all was clean! We will definitely return to Whatcha Dune!

Great house in a great location in Seaside. Our family enjoyed staying here very much. The upstairs loft is great for young children as long as they can navigate stairs with ease. The upstairs screened in balcony was a great place to relax with good weather.

We had a great stay at Whatcha Dune for fall break. The living area is spacious and was perfect for the 10 of us. The kitchen was well stocked, and the location was great. We could easily walk to the beach, pools, and into town. We will definitely consider renting again!

Wonderful week at Watcha Dune. Its on the back/quieter side of town but still super close to everything. Only complaint is that with staying a week at the beach with children, washing clothes is a must, and the washer and dryer were the smallest possible.

Great location on the back side of Seaside Circle. Quiet but close to all of the activity. House is cute, clean, and well stocked. Management company instructions were seamless from start to finish. Loved our stay!

We had a great time. Location was good house was great. Just wish their had been a 1/2 bath in loft. But in all house was good not great but good.
