There is always something new and exciting going on around Seaside as the community continues to evolve.  The construction has started on the Bud and Alley’s expansion project. Some noted changes you will see when you arrive this Spring, the Taco Bar will now be located across from the Pizza Bar. The Bud & Alley’s expansion project will add an additional 850 square feet to the rooftop deck stretching north to Highway 30A. There will be a new tower entrance to the rooftop bar that includes an elevator. They plan to build a new rooftop bar that when you are sitting at it, you now can have a view of the ocean from your seat at the bar.  There will also be additional restrooms built both downstairs and now upstairs as well at Bud & Alley's Rooftop Bar.

Around town, the Post Office has settled in at its final resting place at the North end of Central Square and the new plaza with public restrooms are open for use. There are beautiful palms that flank the post office on either side and additional bike parking behind the post office, this is now an impressive planned pedestrian center focused around the Post Office.   The Art of Simple has moved from its former home next to Modica Market to a new location in the Machado Silvetti Building where Artful Eye was located.  Don’t worry…Artful Eye is still in town moving only a few doors down.  Finally, Amavida has moved from their location South of 30A to the location next to the Art of Simple.  The word around town and on the street is we have at least two new exciting concepts still to come for the Spring and Summer of 2019!  So, stay tuned!
