Wine Festival Fun in Seaside, Florida

In the Emerald Coast of Florida's most happening small town, the Seeing Red festival kicks off on November 6, and runs for four days. Getting here is easy, with two nearby airports for fliers, and a free shuttle from the massive parking just outside of town for drivers. Seaside's Seeing Red Wine Festival 2025
Curated wine offerings, gourmet food and live music in a very civilized beachside town in Florida? Bring it on! Dozens of wineries will be here for tastings and more, and around 100 tents and tables throughout the town will entice visitors with their offerings.
The festival opens on Thursday with the traditional Vintner's Dinner in the evening at Bud & Alley's beachside restaurant - fabulous food, perfect wine, and music. Enjoy the ocean in comfort and good company, and be merry.
Friday showcases the Al Fresco Reserve Tasting to gather with winemakers and aficionados on the Lyceum Lawn, with hors d'oeuvres to die for and perfectly paired wines that may just offer flavors you've never quite experienced before. There's live music here too, to add some rhythm to the strolling, mingling and tasting.
Saturday's the big one, in the Battle of the Somms at lunchtime, with a curated lunch and sommelier competition for the best pairing - no solemn sommeliers here, this is lively fun. Then the afternoon brings the Seeing Red Wine Festival's Grand Tasting. Seaside's Central Square starts to bustle, with winemakers and vintners from around the world pairing their best wines with cuisine created by Seaside's own gourmet chefs, along with guest chefs from the Emerald Coast area. And live music, of course.
Sunday says goodbye, at least until next year, with the Celebration of Bubbles, as local chef Jim Shirley and his team guide the adventurous through the wine world of sparkle, exploring Champagne, Cava, Prosecco and more. Brunch is enticingly created for this occasion, to round out the festival memories of flavors and tastes.
