Grab your sparklers, pack your stars and stripes, and gather your beach essentials to join us for a patriotic day in paradise here in Seaside, Florida. There is no better way to spend the Fourth of July than at the beach, and Seaside has so much to offer on this special holiday.

Not only will Seaside host the largest firework show along the Gulf Coast, but the town will be decorated in red, white, and blue and many of the shops and art creators will be here to showcase the good ole U S of A for all our friends and families. Homeowners Collection is here to provide you with some insight on the hottest happenings in town square on this Fourth of July weekend.

This July 4th in lieu of the annual Seaside July 4th Parade, Seaside will be having a day of patriotic activities in Central Square from 9AM to approximately 1PM.  These will include an all-day block party (think of it as a reverse parade) with storefronts dressed in patriotic décor and featuring special second-line patriotic music performances around town and throughout the day. Walk Central Square and immerse yourself in old glory with your loved ones as the storefronts are decorated all throughout the Seaside Amphitheater for your enjoyment. There will be balloon artists, a stilt walker, and a Seaside Rep performance; “The Complete History of America” at 9AM around Central Square and the Seaside Amphitheater.    Homeowner’s Collection will have a float in town center with exclusive giveaways. We will be located right outside of Amavida Coffee.

You may also be in need of tasty treat to enjoy with loved ones while you’re here… and Seaside has plenty for you to enjoy. You can find fun, festive treats at Dawson’s Yogurt and Fudge Works located in town square, Heavenly Shortcakes and Ice Cream in the back of Central Square, or the new Nigel’s 30A in Ruskin, where you can order a custom dipped banana or ice cream bar! A frozen treat Fourth of July style is exactly what you need to cool down on a sun-soaked day.

Many Seaside homeowners and guests decorate their homes, so be sure and stroll the brick paved streets and take in the beautiful homes decked out in their red, white, and blue. Ruskin Park is a shaded escape directly in the center of town across from the Seaside chapel for a break from the heat and will be decked out in patriotic flags surrounding the park.
