WHY SEASIDE?
Seaside has numerouse fun annual events in addition to our annual Halloweener Derby. This is why Seaside is such a popular popular destination along Hwy 30A. Seaside has become the hub or downtown of 30A offering a vibrant and fun beach town for all to enjoy.
Ongoing events throughout the year include the fabulous Seaside farmer's market every Saturday in the Amphitheater with its unique handmade items, its gourmet treats and exotic foods. Restaurants, too, offer their casually gourmet meals and seasonal specials to be aware of.
The Amphitheater continues to be the heart of Seaside, the perfect gathering place and auditorium for live music concerts throughout the year, as well as movie nights under the stars - bring your own lawn chair and come with or without a blanket, depending on the season. And our local world-class REP Theatre can keep you spellbound with its magical performances during the various seasons.
Once you get to Seaside you can walk to over 35 shops and restaurants in our vibrant little town, take a stroll through Ruskin Park which reminds you or a European destination, walk past our charming Seaside Chapel on Forest Street, watch the kids climb trees in Ruskin Park, and enjoy our gourmet to go at our famous Air Stream Row with six food to go options. There is plenty of seating to sit and stay awhile surrounding the Amphitheater and don't forget to get your photo takend in front of the Seaside Post Office.
