WHY SEASIDE?
Seaside is small but packs a punch with its numerous events during the year. This is why it's one of the most popular destinations along Hwy 30A. Many people come in for the day or for a special event, and we make it easy with free shuttles running from early until late, bringing day guests in from the spacious parking lot outside of town, right into the center of the action.
Ongoing events throughout the year include the fabulous farmer's market every week, with its unique handmade items, gourmet treats, and exotic foods. Restaurants, too, offer their casually gourmet meals and seasonal specials to be aware of. Watch for the wine festival too, one of the year's nationally acclaimed festivities. The Amphitheater continues to be the heart of Seaside, the perfect gathering place and auditorium for live music concerts throughout the year, as well as movie nights under the stars - bring your own lawn chair and come with or without a blanket, depending on the season.
