SEASIDE® and Chef-Owner Nikhil Abuvala are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated launch of The Daytrader Tiki Bar & Restaurant, generating great excitement among enthusiasts. Situated at the entrance of Seaside, Fl's iconic Coleman Beach Pavilion, The Daytrader offers an enticing opportunity for guests to escape reality and immerse themselves in a blend of Polynesian Coast and Gulf of Mexico experiences. With a vibrant anti-corporate vibe, Chef Abuvala's passion for the coastal cuisine and culture of the Pacific Ocean's Polynesian islands serves as the driving force behind this new establishment. Serving lunch and dinner daily, The Daytrader proudly joins the esteemed ranks of South Walton's dining scene, becoming Seaside's first table service restaurant debut in over a decade.
Chef Abuvala, deeply rooted in Northwest Florida, brings a wealth of culinary expertise to The Daytrader. As the owner of three distinctive restaurant concepts, including Roux 30a, Nanbu Noodle Bar, and Nanbu Too, he has established a strong connection with the local community. Chef Abuvala's commitment to his craft is evident in his thoughtful contributions to the burgeoning culinary destination that South Walton has become. Collaborating with renowned firms, such as Jonathan Douglas & Associates for architectural and exterior design services and Stantec for interior design and landscape architecture, The Daytrader boasts a modern tiki-inspired atmosphere that promotes escapism. The interior features bold patterns, brass accents, and natural textures, while the beachside terrace offers an outdoor oasis adorned with lush greenery and vibrant furnishings. Guests can expect a curated experience with 130 seats, most of which are in covered outdoor spaces.
