Hide Away is an adorable studio carriage house adjacent to the main home Drift Away.  Hide Away has a convenient Seaside location just one block to the beach, 1/2 a block to Seaside Avenue, and steps to the adult pool, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and the park.  The second-floor studio walk-up has a completely renovated fully equipped kitchen with bar seating for four, quartz stone countertops, a four-burner electrical stove top with oven, a full fridge, and a microwave. There is one renovated full bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower and a single vanity. 

The open studio space off the kitchen features the king bed, side table, dresser, and a flat screen TV.  The studio bedroom/living space is surrounded with windows for a bright and airy beach feel. Off the front of the studio are double doors that open to a balcony with seating for two.  Off the side of this cottage is a private outdoor charcoal grill and a rear outdoor shower. This is a perfect centralized Seaside, Florida location for a quick weekend beach escape within walking distance to over 35 shops and restaurants just steps from your door. 

All Drift Away units and the Hide Away units share one washer and dryer that is located under the stairwell at Hide Away. 

*This cottage may also be rented with the main Drift Away cottages for additional space. Drift Away (5 bedroom), Drift Away Main (4 bedroom), Drift Away Suite (1 bedroom). This cottage shares a driveway and street parking with the other Drift Away cottages. One vehicle parking pass is allotted for 1 bedroom cottages. The shared parking for this unit is shared with Drift Away 5BD, or Drift Away 4 and Drift Suite rented at the same time; guests will have first come/first serve driveway parking.  However, guests will be given a Seaside Town Council parking pass that will allow for self-parking along Savannah Street as long as no other driveway is blocked and or in the overflow parking available at Smolian Circle."

* Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration. 3 Night minimum for Spring, Spring Break, Summer, & Fall. 2 Night minimum for Winter.

I was in town for the Seaside Prize celebrations, and this was truly a delightful Hide Away. I was able to easily walk on the network footpaths to the square, the beach and all the other venue sites. I rode my bike to the state forest and the shopping area on Highway 395 via the separated multi-use side path. Fabulous stay. Highly recommend both Seaside and the Hide Away cottage.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. Quiet location with ample parking. This carriage house has a dishwasher and full fridge. There were some maintenance issues that needed attention: door knob to balcony was very loose, disposal was jammed with a rusted screw and inoperable, the required emergency lights emitted a constant low hum and were inoperable, and the ironing board was missing. Outdoor grill was awesome!

We've rented many times from Homeowner's Collection, but this was our first time staying at Hide Away. Check-in/check-out was convenient with the keypad entry. The location was great and the unit perfect for two people. Always love the perk of bike rentals being included! The rental had all the necessary amenities needed for our weekend stay. We would definitely stay here again!

We were here for our anniversary trip and found the little loft apartment to be just perfect for our stay.close to the beach and the shops/ restaurants. We really enjoyed the bikes provided.
