When you are looking for a home for a romantic getaway, consider our large one-bedroom cottage ‘Moonlight Hug’.  This two-story cottage, one-bedroom home is the guest cottage for ‘Beachside Kiss’.  It’s perfect for a small family vacation. 

Along Scenic 30A, ‘Moonlight Hug’ is one of the larger guest cottages available for rent.  With high ceilings and an open living/dining area, the home graciously accommodates everyone staying there.  The large primary suite has its own private bath and balcony area.  The cottage also has a sleeper sofa which makes the space large enough to sleep four guests. 

The main level comprises the living and dining areas.  Relax in the living room with the large flat-screen TV.  Cook gourmet meals in the kitchen complete with granite countertops.  Dine at the bar area or at the café table.  Enjoy time relaxing and watching the world go by from the front or back porch.  This is the way that Seaside was meant to be enjoyed…tranquil time outside.

Enjoy your cocktail on the balcony off of the queen primary suite. Its second-floor location and Adirondack chairs make it the perfect place to watch the sunset.  As it has privacy screening, you’ll feel that you are a world away.   The room also has a TV and a private bath with a shower/tub combo. 

This little getaway cottage is perfect for romantic times away from the bustle of life.  Located directly behind Seaside’s town square, you’re just steps away from activity and the warm, sandy beaches.

Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration. 3-night minimum Spring, Spring Break, Summer, and Fall | 2-night minimum Winter.

  • Only 1 parking pass per one-bedroom cottage and 2 parking passes for two-bedroom and larger homes are issued. A golf cart is considered a car.
  • Golf carts for non-homeowners visiting Seaside are prohibited. Special circumstances and medical needs requests require a golf cart permit.   
  • Pet friendly up to 25 lbs.

Me and my kids had a wonderful stay at Moonlight Hug. Larger than a typical guest house, it gave us plenty of room to be comfortable.

I was so excited. It is the cutest little cottage with a feminine feel. Great that I had parking right out front. I felt very safe there. It was close to the shopping area. It was clean. It was perfect for me and my dog except the bummer was another home next door was doing major outdoor construction and it was very loud. I reached out to Amanda at Homeowners to let her know I wasn't happy. She was very responsive and found me a new house to stay in with no construction noise. She gave me 3 to choose from and followed up with me to make sure I was happy. She went above and beyond. I loved Moonlight Hug and wouldn't have asked to be moved if it wasn't for the construction. I'm picky and would stay in the house again. The house size was perfect for me and would easily accommodate another person but would be cramped with any more than 2 people. If I had to come up with things that could be improved upon it would be to have a couple of rugs at the door in the house and a broom or vacuum so you could clean up the sand or pebbles that were carried into the house. The bathroom could use an update but was fine for the week I was there. The sofa is ready to be replaced.

Moonlight Hug was a cozy cottage in the perfect location. It was quiet too. The only recommendations I have are:1. There werent any sauce pans or large skillets, so we were unable to cook meals (as we had hoped to do). 2. The mattress on the sofa bed is very thin and you can feel the metal frame underneath the mattress when you are laying down.

Our family of 3 really enjoyed our stay at the Moonlight Hug. It was in a great location, clean, and had everything we needed. We had one minor issue during our stay and the management and maintenance team were very responsive and immediately fixed the issue.
