When you think of the ‘perfect Fourth of July weekend’, how could you not want to spend it at the beach? Fourth of July in Seaside, Florida is a special time that draws in folks from all over the U.S. In addition to the contagious ‘summer feeling’ that radiates through town this time of year, this holiday season in Seaside involves many festive happenings that the entire family can enjoy.
When has Seaside ever been known to not go ‘all out’ for a special occasion? The Fourth of July is no exception to this. In fact, Seaside will be hosting a plethora of events that you won’t want to miss!
To kick off the weekend, on Friday, July 1st, there will be a cinema under the stars showing Space Jam at the Seaside Amphitheater at 8pm under the stars. Saturday, you and your crew can mosey on over to the Farmer’s Market to jumpstart the day, or take it easy at the Amphitheater, while listening to the summer live music series most Saturdays in the Amphitheater from 1PM – 4PM.
Amongst all of Seaside’s seasonal specials, we need not forget the area’s staple treats. After basking in all the joyful decor and activities, pop in ‘Modica Market’ for a refreshment to beat the heat, or head over to Airstream row to partake in some local favorite eats!
On July 4th, Seaside will be hosting an entire day full of patriotic events in Central Square. The celebration will begin at 9AM with a block party that carries on until 12PM. As always, there will be a patriotic ‘reverse parade’, where all local businesses participate in decorating unique floats. Homeowner’s Collection’s float will be in front of Amavida Coffee, equipped with exclusive giveaways for guests and locals alike. The entire town will be thoughtfully accessorized for your viewing pleasure and entertainment.
