Welcome to Wrinkle in Time, a charming Seaside guest cottage ideally located on Forest Street, directly across from the West Side pool and within easy walking distance to downtown Seaside and the beach. This one-bedroom cottage serves as the guest house to the main home, Up On The Roof, and offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery—perfect for a quick Seaside escape in the heart of Seaside, Florida.

Private Outdoor Living Surrounded by Greenery

Guests arrive via a quiet side footpath leading to the cottage’s private outdoor space. The backyard features a wooden deck with Adirondack seating for three and a Big Green Egg grill, creating an ideal setting for outdoor cooking, relaxed evenings, or enjoying Seaside’s coastal breezes beneath the trees.

First-Floor Queen Bedroom & Private Deck

Upon entering the cottage, you’re welcomed by abundant natural light streaming through numerous windows. The first level features a spacious queen bedroom with an attached full bathroom offering a single vanity and a walk-in shower. French doors open to a small private deck with Adirondack seating, overlooking the footpath—an inviting spot for morning coffee or quiet moments outdoors.

Open Second-Level Living with Balcony Views

Upstairs, the second story offers an open-concept living space combining a cozy sitting area, dining nook, and full kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, four-burner electric stove, oven, and microwave, making it easy to prepare meals after a visit to Seaside’s gourmet markets. A dining table for two, a large mounted flat-screen TV, and a twin daybed provide comfort and flexibility for an additional guest.

This level also opens to a private open-air Juliette balcony, overlooking treetop views and the tranquil courtyard below—an elevated retreat that captures the charm of Seaside living.

Loved the cute cottage and the Homeowners Collection was a great company to rent from. They were available after hours if there. Were any issues and kept in touch with us asking if we had any needs. Loved the welcome tote, beach towels and bottle of wine upon arrival. Would check out more if their properties in the future.

The house provided an adorable getaway for me and my husband, and it was in a perfect location-we could walk anywhere, or use the two free rental bikes that came with our stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only issue we had was that the pocket door from the bedroom to bathroom was impossible to close, although we did not ask to have it fixed, so Im sure had we asked it would have been addressed. Highly recommend!

We loved this little cottage! Perfect size for 2 people and it was very clean. Super close to the beach and the owners were very nice. Internet was great and although the top floor does get a bit hotter because of all the windows, the AC still worked great.
