Welcome to Morning Star, a charming guest cottage perfectly situated in the heart of Seaside, Florida. Located just 69 feet from the beach access on Odessa Street, this prime Seaside retreat offers the ultimate convenience — only a three-minute walk to the Seaside Amphitheater and a five-minute stroll to downtown, where you’ll find more than 40 shops and restaurants.

Tucked down a sandy footpath with a private entrance and surrounded by lush landscaping on a spacious corner lot, Morning Star combines privacy with proximity. The bright and airy cottage features a queen bedroom on the main floor with a newly renovated ensuite bathroom complete with an LED-lit mirror, single vanity, and large glass-enclosed walk-in shower. The bedroom also includes dual mounted reading lights, a large dresser for storage, and a mounted flat-screen TV.

Upstairs, the open living area is bathed in natural light and offers vaulted ceilings for an airy, coastal feel. A cozy bistro table for two sits just off the stairs, and the adjacent living space includes a sofa, club chair, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV — perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The adjoining galley kitchen is thoughtfully equipped for your stay, featuring stone countertops, a small dishwasher, a full-size refrigerator with freezer, a toaster, coffee pot, four-burner stove, oven, and a mounted microwave. The kitchen opens to glass double doors leading to a charming Juliette balcony with seating for two, where you can enjoy treetop views and the sound of the waves just across the street.

With its unbeatable location and inviting design, Morning Star offers the perfect Seaside escape for couples seeking a relaxing and romantic beach getaway.

* 3 night minimum Spring, Spring Break, Summer, and 2 night minimum Fall &  Winter. Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration.

  • 1 parking pass is issued. A golf cart is considered a car, and for non-homeowners visiting Seaside are prohibited. Special circumstances and medical needs requests require a golf cart permit.

After many years of family trips to Seaside, I did a solo trip, staying at Morning Star. I would stay here again! Best location (right across from the beach), great rain shower, bed, just the right amount of space, sweet balcony facing the Gulf - I could go on! I recommend Morning Star and look forward to returning!!

The little house is all you need and nothing you don't if you are looking for a cozy little home literally walk to every where. You really don't even need a car. Great experience overall.

Great location within close walking distance to beach and all that Seaside has to offer. Did not visit the pools and other ammenities but stayed on the beautiful beach. The property has just enough room for 2. The bedroom is a little small as not much room to put your luggage but I usually pack too much anyway! Would stay here again.
