Just a short stroll from Seaside Avenue, the family park, and the community pool—and only a 5-minute walk to beach access and the Seaside Amphitheater—this inviting retreat places more than 35 shops and restaurants right outside your door.

A Private Cottage Setting Surrounded by Nature

Guests arrive via a private parking area and are welcomed by the cottage’s cheerful green exterior, framed by mature trees and lush landscaping that create a peaceful, secluded feel. A private entrance leads to a furnished screened porch, thoughtfully designed with lounge seating for two, dual-facing benches, and a ceiling fan. Positioned between shaded front and back yards, this porch is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or unwind after a sun-filled day at the beach.

The backyard continues the serene atmosphere with towering trees, an outdoor shower, and a walkway that connects the first-level bedroom to the footpath behind the home.

First-Floor Bedroom and Bath

Inside on the first level, the queen bedroom is located just off the entry and features a cozy window seat, flat-screen TV, ample storage, and double doors opening directly to the backyard. A nearby full bathroom includes a single vanity and walk-in shower, offering convenience and comfort for guests.

Open-Concept Living on the Second Floor

Upstairs, the bright and airy second level showcases high ceilings and an inviting living area with comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV. Just off the living space, a private Juliette balcony overlooks the backyard, adding natural light and fresh air to the space.

The adjacent dining area seats three and flows into a fully equipped kitchen featuring a four-burner electric stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and under-counter refrigerator—perfect for preparing meals after a day exploring Seaside. An additional Juliette balcony off the kitchen looks out onto quiet Forest Street, completing the home’s charming coastal feel.

* 3 night minimum Spring, Spring Break, Summer, and 2 night minimum Fall &  Winter. Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Everything was clean and comfortable and just as described. We could easily walk or bike on our complimentary bikes to anywhere we wanted to. The private beach access was a nice bonus.

My wife and I enjoyed this beautiful getaway to seaside! Quaint and quiet and a short walk to the beach and town center. It was welcoming and quite spacious. We enjoyed the private porch every evening with a glass of wine. More than worth the price, a great value. Only 1 bedroom I could find on its own lot with private parking spot. Loved it.

My stay was wonderful in this beautiful small cottage, perfect for 2 people! The location is fabulous and the free bike rentals were perfect for this area. It is very close to the fitness center and a pool. I was very happy with the cleanliness and the customer service. I will use this company again to rent in the area!

Seaside is a unique and magical place because of places like Green Gables. My wife and I stayed here 25 years ago and returned for a three day weekend in October. It was a fantastic stay in a private location on the edge of town surrounded by vegetation. Everything was easily accessible from the beach to the town center to swimming pool, tennis courts and trails. The place has great spaces including the screened in porch, vaulted ceilinged living room/kitchen and unique master bedroom.

We cannot say enough great things about Green Gables in Seaside. It was so close to everything that we wanted to do - beach, shopping, restaurants. We didn't even need our car plus the rental came with two free bikes which were great for touring into the neighboring towns. The house was clean and comfortable, linens were great. Kitchen was well stocked to be able to cook meals at home but we loved the seaside restaurants too. We will definitely be back!
