Red Sky Travel Insurance Policy Information
Homeowner’s Collection has partnered with Red Sky Travel Insurance to provide Sun Trip Preserver® coverage for our guests. Sun Trip Preserver provides cancellation and interruption services as well as emergency assistance and travel services. Protect yourself in the event of hurricane evacuations and family emergencies such as illness or death in the family. The travel insurance is optional the cost is 6.95% of your total reservation stay. Guests can purchase travel insurance up to the final payment being made on their reservation. Guests can not purchase travel insurance the day of arrival. Please call Homeowner's Collection at 1-855-411-1557 to add travel insurance to your booking if prior to final payment and it was not purchased during the check out process.
Red Sky Travel Insurance Policy regarding Coronavirus 3.12.20
Guests are protected and will be reimbursed if their stay dates are affected by the diagnosis of coronavirus that restricts their travel, a traveling companion’s travel, or a family member. A coronavirus diagnosis is seen as a sickness. The “concern, fear, or hesitancy to travel” because of the news and existence of the coronavirus is not a covered event which will reimburse a guest cancelling their vacation plans.
If a guest or Traveling Companion is subject to a documented quarantine because of the coronavirus that affects their vacation stay dates, they may cancel or interrupt their vacation and be reimbursed. A US airline cancelling flights from a specific location (China) into the US because of the coronavirus is NOT a covered reason for cancellation. The flight cancellations are defined as a travel ban and are not a documented quarantine.
