Welcome to Sandy Toes, a charming beach retreat that combines the spacious main home, Seabiscuit, and the cozy rear guest cottage, Grace Sea. Ideally situated just a short 3-minute walk from the beach and conveniently near the Westside Pool, this popular rental property offers the perfect blend of indoor comfort and outdoor living. Recently updated, Sandy Toes boasts expansive porches and a delightful side deck with an outdoor dining area, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and entertaining. With over 1,250 square feet of covered, screened-in porch space, the home truly feels like an outdoor oasis.

Seabiscuit, the main home, is a classic Charleston-style cottage that sleeps 10 across three bedrooms. The home features two levels of outdoor living, including a dining table for 8, multiple rocking chairs, a cozy sleeping bench, and a built-in stereo system for music lovers. Inside, the home is designed in a modified "dog trot" style with first-floor bedrooms that have direct access to the downstairs porches. The second floor hosts the primary King bedroom, the kitchen, and the living area, all of which are accessible via steps from the enclosed front porch.

On the first floor, you’ll find a spacious King bedroom at the rear of the home, complete with a dresser, flat-screen TV, and an updated ensuite bathroom featuring a glass-enclosed walk-in shower and a single vanity. The second bedroom, located at the front of the home, has two bunks (3 twin beds and 1 double, sleeping 4), a dresser, and its own flat-screen TV. Off this room is a hall bathroom with a single vanity and a shower/tub combination. In the same hallway, a built-in twin bunk nook provides additional sleeping for two, each with its own mounted flat-screen TV.

Upstairs, the King primary bedroom offers a private retreat with an ensuite renovated bathroom and its own furnished porch. The bedroom is equipped with a flat-screen TV and a large dresser, and the screened-in porch features custom-built bench seating and club chairs—ideal for an evening drink or quiet time. The renovated ensuite bath includes a single vanity, ample storage, and a large glass-enclosed shower with dual shower heads.

The updated kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a large double-door refrigerator with an ice & water dispenser, and features a breakfast bar with seating for three. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining table comfortably seats 6 to 8. The living room offers a large sectional and additional seating, perfect for family game nights or movie marathons. A spiral staircase leads to an open-air deck with stunning views of Seaside and breathtaking sunsets.

Grace Sea, the rear guest cottage, provides a peaceful escape with its own screened-in front porch. Inside, the living/dining area is equipped with a built-in stereo, TV, and DVD player. The kitchen features granite countertops, a tiled backsplash, and a breakfast bar. The King bedroom has a private bath and is also furnished with a TV. For additional relaxation, the cottage includes a second screened-in porch with rocking chairs and a ceiling fan, as well as a private rear charcoal grill.

We traveled with a large group of women to celebrate our milestone birthdays. The home was perfect in every way! Great location, clean, so much space, well laid out, so many places to gather. We loved it! It was an easy walk to the beach and shops...we did wish the house came with beach chairs and beach towels. But we were prepared and loved every minute!

My family and I had a great time at Sandy Toes. However, if the main house and guest house are rented together there is only parking for two vehicles in front of the homes. If the main and guest house were rented separately, there would be no parking for the guest house.
