One of the newer homes in Seaside- Slow Mocean can actually be two houses in one, Slow Mocean and Seasuite. Together they total 6 bedrooms and 6.5 baths, sleeping 14 total, all in exquisite beach style.

The main house is Slow Mocean and as you enter you know it is something special. A large living area with beautiful hardwood floors sits off a porch that faces Scenic Highway 30A. The front porch has a private outdoor shower that leads into a mudroom with a stand-alone ice maker and washer dryer, and a side porch faces Seaside’s quaint East Ruskin Street. Three bedrooms are downstairs, (all KINGS), and each is elegantly appointed with their own private bathroom. The furnishings have a refined, local flair with pillows and other artwork reminiscent of the 30A and Seaside area.

Up the beautiful wood stairs, you’ll find a half bath on the landing and then to your left another gorgeous living area with television and lots of light from the attached outdoor living area, complete with flat-screen tv mounted outside. A dining table that seats 12 is right off the amazing chef’s kitchen, with bar seating for 3 and a Romeo & Juliet balcony off the kitchen. Also upstairs is a king bedroom and a bunk room with 4 built-in twin beds and a trundle. Additionally, there is a third floor with a loft area and TV, perfect for privacy after a long day, that opens to the tower and gorgeous views of the Gulf and all of Seaside.

There is a separate cottage, Seasuite that is detached just off the stone path from the main house that can be rented together. It has a queen bedroom and full bath downstairs and upstairs a sitting area and kitchenette with gorgeous glass tile inlaid countertops and a washer/dryer in the unit.

Sat to Sat. 7-night minimum for summer. 5 night min Spring, Spring Break, 3 night min Fall, 2 night min winter.  Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration.

  • Only 1 parking pass per one-bedroom cottage and 2 parking passes for two-bedroom and larger homes are issued. A golf cart is considered a car.
  • Golf carts for non-homeowners visiting Seaside are prohibited. Special circumstances and medical needs requests require a golf cart permit.

GreatOnly problem was teenagers roaming at night and yelling right in front of the house. This went on for what seemed like hours. Only on Friday night did we see security to move along. Additionally bicycles are a on the walking path are not careful and ride much too fast.Traffic! As usual.

We have been coming to Seaside for 13 years and this was our favorite house by far. Everything was perfect. The location is wonderful, the quality of the home couldn't be better and we loved the layout. We had more than enough room for our group of 10. My sister and I have just lost our dad and we took our families on Spring Break together to find some peace. Thank you for sharing this home with us to do so. We will be back!
