A Private Coastal Retreat

Designed with privacy in mind, The Carriage House is a one-bedroom cottage located above the garage of the main home, Vista del Mar, with its own private entrance. Guests access the home via an enclosed stairway that opens into a bright, open-concept living space. The airy interior features comfortable Pottery Barn lounge chairs and ottomans, creating a relaxed setting for conversation, reading, or unwinding with a favorite show.

Comfortable Living with Thoughtful Details

The open floor plan seamlessly connects the living area to a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to enjoy casual meals or morning coffee. The queen bedroom offers a peaceful place to rest, paired with a full bathroom just steps away. A compact washer and dryer are conveniently tucked into the closet opposite the hanging clothes storage—ideal for longer stays or beach-filled days.

Balcony Views & Outdoor Enjoyment

One of the standout features of The Carriage House is the private balcony, where guests can savor breakfast at the bistro table or enjoy breathtaking Seaside sunsets. From here, you can overlook East Ruskin Avenue as it leads toward the Pavilion and the Gulf beyond. After a day at the beach, relax in the porch rocking chairs and watch Seasiders stroll by along one of the town’s most picturesque streets. A storage closet on the balcony holds the bistro table, chairs, and a selection of beach toys for guest use.

Beach Days Made Easy

To complete the Seaside experience, guests have access to an outdoor charcoal grill for laid-back cookouts and an outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off sand and sunscreen after a day on the beach. Every detail is designed to help you slow down, unplug, and enjoy the simple pleasures of coastal living.

The Carriage House is an inviting Seaside escape—perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking an unbeatable location, privacy, and classic Florida charm.

* 3 night minimum Spring, Spring Break, Summer, and 2 night minimum Fall &  Winter. Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration. 

* Pets are allowed with certain restrictions and provisions. An additional $50 a day rental pet fee will be collected in addition to the flat $100 pet fee.

  • Personalized service throughout your stay, with starter amenities provided
  • Only 1 parking pass per one-bedroom cottage. A golf cart is considered a car.  Golf carts for non-homeowners visiting Seaside are prohibited. Special circumstances and medical needs requests require a golf cart permit
