Up on the Roof welcomes guests with two expansive open-air porches on the first and second levels, ideal for soaking up the Florida sunshine. The first-floor porch features outdoor dining with a picnic table and adjacent Adirondack seating for four, creating a perfect setting for casual meals or morning coffee. A furnished rear porch just off the kitchen adds even more outdoor space to relax and unwind.

Open-Concept Living, Dining & Kitchen

Step inside to an open floor plan designed for gathering and connection. The inviting living room offers comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV, making it perfect for movie nights or game-day viewing. Just beyond, the dining area comfortably seats eight guests, with additional breakfast bar seating for three. The recently updated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, new countertops, and everything needed to prepare meals with ease.

First-Floor Bedroom & Full Bath

A queen bedroom is conveniently located just off the living area and includes a mounted flat-screen TV. A spacious full bathroom is located directly across the hall, serving both the bedroom and main living spaces on the first floor.

Second-Floor Bedrooms & Front Porch Retreat

The second floor hosts three additional queen bedrooms and opens to a large, furnished front porch overlooking a peaceful wooded park area. The primary queen bedroom offers ample storage, private en suite bathroom, and direct access to the porch. The recently renovated primary bath features marble countertops and a marble rain shower.
An adjacent queen bedroom also opens to the front porch, while the fourth queen bedroom is tucked away at the rear of the home. These bedrooms share a renovated full hall bath with a tub/shower combination.

Stretching the length of the home, the second-floor open-air porch is a true highlight. Enjoy lazy afternoons on the custom-built queen hanging bed or relax in the rocking chairs while taking in the tranquil views—an ideal space for unwinding after a day at the beach.

At the top of the home, a third-floor loft offers a built-in workspace with two desks, perfect for remote work or planning the day’s adventures. This elevated escape is the perfect spot for sunset cocktails or a peaceful nightcap under the stars.

For more space, the rear guest cottage A Wrinkle in Time can be rented and sleeps an additional three.

We loved Up On The Roof! Charming decor, great floorplan and location. The upstairs office was a huge bonus for those needing a well planned quiet space to stay in touch with offices. Especially loved the top deck at night where you could almost touch the stars!

I loved the large porch for morning coffee and the upstairs porch swing was a wonderful place to read a book. The house was perfectly located away from the main traffic area, but still close to the beach. Loved it!

This was a great location in Seaside. Close to the square, just a couple of blocks and yet quite and far enough away from the crowds. There is a spacious, light filled open floor plan on the first level. The house could use a deep cleaning, maintenance and minor repairs, cleaning supplies, and decent cookware. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking in Seaside.

Hosted 7 rising freshman in high school that have been a Girl Scout Troop since kindergarten. The girls earned 3 beach/marine life merit badges in 48 hours. Including a trip to Gulf World Marina & a class w Walton County Turtle Association.
