Please join us at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, February 25, in front of the SEASIDE® Post Office for the ceremonial raising of the flag at the newly installed flagpole.
The program will include a special performance of our National Anthem, an appearance by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard, and brief dedication remarks from the Davis family and the Seaside Community Development Corporation. This occasion coincides with Seaside’s upcoming 45th anniversary and reflects the town’s origins in the era of America’s Bicentennial.
Originally envisioned in a 2017 rendering following the relocation of the Post Office, the flagpole now stands as a realized element of the town’s civic landscape. We hope you will join us as we formally recognize this meaningful addition.
