With a name like "O Happy Day," you can expect to smile as soon as you spot this charming cottage located right next to the Gulf in Seaside, Florida. The character-rich cottage features whimsical decor and an open floor plan. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all conveniently located on the first floor. The first floor is also home to one of the queen bedrooms, which features a luxurious private bathroom. A separate hall bath and a bedroom with two twin beds complete the first floor. 

Traverse to the back porch to discover a private back yard oasis that is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee as you complete a little yoga, read the newspaper, or bask in the sunshine, as you plan your upcoming day spent in Seaside. You will also find an outdoor shower off the rear of the home.

Once you come back inside, take a trip upstairs to find the master suite with a comfortable queen bed and a private bathroom. The second floor also hosts a staircase to the tower room where you will discover town and rooftop views of surrounding Seaside, Florida. At every turn O Happy Day features charm and subtle touches that will make you feel as if you are staying at a home away from home during your vacation. 

Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration.  5-night minimum Spring, Spring Break and Summer | 3-night minimum Fall | 2-night minimum Winter

  • Only 1 parking pass per one-bedroom cottage and 2 parking passes for two-bedroom and larger homes are issued. A golf cart is considered a car.
  • Golf carts for non-homeowners visiting Seaside are prohibited. Special circumstances and medical needs requests require a golf cart permit.

So originally we had booked a different house and got a call 2 days before our vacation that the AC was broken on that house and would we like to switch to this house instead. We were so bummed but then ended up falling in love with O Happy Day! The pictures dont do it justice and the location is perfect. We loved being able to walk into town via the little footpaths. All in all it was a wonderful week at a wonderful house and I will definitely be booking with Homeowners Collection again because of the way they handled the whole situation.

Despite the cold weather, we had a wonderful time staying in the cottage. It was the perfect location to walk everywhere. The beach walkover was two mins away. The house itself was stocked with all amenities needed. The sofa, beds and chairs were all very comfortable. Will be booking this home again.

This was our second stay at Oh, Happy Day. Its a very comfortable house with two great porches, a tower view., etc. its a short walk to the beach and the adult swimming pool. Perfect for our family of four.
