This unique Seaside vacation rental combines two beautifully appointed cottages—Plum Lazy and Plum Crazy—into one expansive coastal retreat, making it ideal for family reunions, multi-family vacations, or groups traveling together. Together, the homes offer approximately 2,700 square feet of living space, incredible outdoor areas, and a scenic tower with sweeping Gulf views—all in the heart of Seaside, Florida.

Two Connected Cottages with Shared Outdoor Living

Plum Lucky is thoughtfully designed as two separate cottages connected by a shared open-air porch furnished with Adirondack seating—perfect for gathering while still enjoying privacy. Plum Lazy welcomes guests with a charming front porch featuring bistro seating for two, an ideal spot for morning coffee or people-watching along Seaside’s picturesque streets. Inside, the first floor features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen layout, complete with comfortable seating, a large flat-screen TV, and an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a full-size refrigerator. The adjacent dining area seats six comfortably, and a rear door leads directly to the shared porch between the homes.

Upstairs in Plum Lazy, guests will find a king primary bedroom with a private ensuite bath (shower only), along with a second bedroom offering a queen bed and twin bed. These share a full hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combination, making this cottage well-suited for families.

Plum Crazy: Elevated Living, Outdoor Spaces & Tower Views

Plum Crazy adds another layer of space and flexibility to the Plum Lucky experience. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, including a king primary suite with a mounted flat-screen TV and a spacious private bathroom featuring a dual vanity and glass-enclosed walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes a queen bed and shares a full hall bath with a charming bonus bunk alcove, complete with a privacy curtain—perfect for kids.

The second floor of Plum Crazy is designed for gathering and entertaining. A fully equipped, updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances opens into a large living area with multiple sofas, a large smart TV, and a card table for four—ideal for family game nights. The dining area is surrounded by windows with treetop views and seats six, while the kitchen island offers bar seating for two more. A convenient half bath is located just off the kitchen.

Balcony & Tower with Panoramic Gulf Views

The true highlight of Plum Crazy—and Plum Lucky as a whole—is its exceptional outdoor living. Just off the second-floor kitchen, an open-air balcony with Adirondack bar seating for four is wrapped in fragrant jasmine vines. From here, a spiral staircase leads to the covered observation tower, where bar seating for four invites you to take in panoramic views of Seaside’s rooftops, the Gulf of Mexico, and unforgettable sunsets. This home was so lovely, it far exceeded our expectations. We were thrilled upon arriving to find our cottage to be light and bright and spacious for our group to be very comfortable. We LOVED the location - right off of Ruskin park with a wonderful view from the balcony of the shops. The beds were all very comfortable and we had everything we needed in the home. We are looking forward to a return visit for sure.

This house was exceptional. We had two groups who shared the two cottages and it was the perfect setup. We had plenty of our own room plus plenty of shared living areas. There are actually two kitchens when the units are combined so it was a nice separation when you wanted one. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the house, as did the adults. We were so pleased with the interior design and the comfort of all of the beds. Everyone slept peacefully! Thank you to Homeowners Collection for a fabulous home and fabulous vacation!

We were Plum Lucky to have stayed here with our two groups of family friends. This setup was perfect and the house itself blew us away with its beauty. The design and interior were absolutely gorgeous and we were comfortable and well taken care of. The location was great - easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Very close to the beach. We were very impressed and will certainly stay here again. Thank you.
