This two-bedroom carriage house–style beach cottage is a delightful retreat tucked away on picturesque Savannah Street in Seaside, Florida. Just a short stroll from private residential beach access and all the iconic shops, dining, and paths of Seaside, this cozy escape sleeps four and offers serene treetop views and relaxed coastal charm.

First-Floor Sleeping Quarters

Upon entering through the private front door—located on the right side of the main home, Mellow Yellow—guests will find the sleeping quarters conveniently located on the first level. This floor features two airy bedrooms, including one queen bedroom and one bedroom with two twin beds, both thoughtfully decorated with whimsical artwork and offering ample storage space. A full hallway bathroom with a walk-in shower and single vanity serves both bedrooms, completing the comfortable and functional layout.

Second-Floor Loft Living Space

Upstairs, a staircase leads to a bonus loft-style living area, thoughtfully separated from the sleeping quarters below. This inviting second level includes a spacious living area with comfortable seating, a dining table for four, a full kitchen, and an additional full bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and four-burner stovetop oven, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay.

Private Balcony with Treetop Views

The highlight of this level is the open-air balcony porch, furnished with Adirondack seating and a charming bench swing. Overlooking peaceful treetop views, this elevated outdoor space is the perfect place to sip morning coffee, unwind after a beach day, or simply enjoy the sights and sounds of Seaside, FL.

Your Perfect Coastal Reset

Looking for a relaxing reset by the beach? Lemon Drop delivers a peaceful and memorable Seaside stay. Need additional space for family or friends? The main home, “Mellow Yellow,” can also be rented to accommodate a larger group.

* Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign the registration. 3-night minimum Spring, Spring Break | 5-night minimum Summer | 3-night minimum Fall | 2-night minimum Winter.

  • Access to Seaside amenities, including 3 swimming pools, 5 clay tennis courts (court fees apply), 3 pickleball courts (court fees apply), and a fitness center
  • Welcome tote with 2 beach towels and a complimentary bottle of wine
  • Two complimentary rental bikes included with your stay for pickup at the Seaside Transit Authority
  • Personalized service throughout your stay with starter amenities provided
  • Parking policy: One parking pass issued for one-bedroom cottages. Two parking passes issued for two-bedroom and larger homes. A golf cart is considered a vehicle. Golf carts are prohibited for non-homeowners visiting Seaside. Special circumstances and medical needs require an approved golf cart permit.
  • Entry information: Access to this carriage house is located behind the main home, Mellow Yellow. The lockbox containing the key is mounted on a beam next to the golf cart parking area
