Karibu is the delightful guest cottage to Hakuna Matata. Both are conveniently close to the Westside Pool and only a two minute walk to the beach. Karibu opens into a small courtyard with barbecue grill, and is privately accessible by one of Seaside's enchanting footpaths. Like the main house, Karibu is abundant in natural light provided by 3 sets of French doors on each of the 2 floors. Enter the living room from the covered front porch that extends the length of the building. In the open living room you will find the staircase leading to the second floor, a queen size sleeper sofa, flat screen television, fully equipped kitchen, and a half bath for the common living areas.

The living room and fully equipped kitchen are separated by a breakfast bar with seating for four. The washer/dryer are located in a closet in the kitchen. Also, tucked away in a corner of the kitchen next to one set of French doors, is a rocking chair that provides just the place to enjoy morning coffee.

Ascend the stairs to the second floor and find a bright and spacious bedroom furnished with a king bed and a private bathroom. The bedroom and full size bath, both access the second floor balcony via French doors. Whether looking for an intimate getaway for two or additional space for a small family escape to Seaside, Karibu is quite a find!

*5-night Spring Break, Spring; 3 night Fall; 2-night Winter. Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration

I really liked the home. It was decorated nicely. Only thing I didn't like were the sheer curtains on all the windows. I felt like people could see in. The master bath is not updated but at least had a shower door and updated sized toilet. Loved that the decor didn't scream, I'm at the beach. I loved the landscaping in front of the house. The location was great. It was really close to a pool and the beach. It doesn't sit on the street so it's really quiet and felt secluded even though there are houses all around you. You can't see your car and have to walk a driveway length on a sand path to get to the home. Only a bother when you are loading and unloading and if you tend to overpack like I do. The management staff, Amanda, was fabulous. Very helpful and friendly. She made me feel like I wasn't here alone and had a vested interest that I had a great stay. This was the best management experience I have ever had. I would definitely stay here again and I'm picky.
