Tucked behind the main cottage, Lucy’s Hideaway offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of Seaside, Florida, just seven houses from the beach and one block from the Seaside town square. This lemon-hued carriage house is ideal for a romantic escape or small family getaway, comfortably accommodating up to four guests while keeping everything you love about Seaside just steps away.

Private Outdoor Spaces

Surrounded by mature landscaping, a wooden walkway leads to a private deck with outdoor seating—perfect for soaking up the coastal breeze in a quiet, tucked-away setting. Additional balconies and outdoor nooks provide inviting spaces to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon relaxation, or evening nightcaps beneath the trees.

Comfortable Sleeping Arrangements

The ground floor features a spacious king bedroom with room for a dresser and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, along with an ensuite full bathroom for added privacy and convenience. A queen sleeper sofa in the upstairs living area allows for two additional guests, making this cottage well-suited for couples or small groups.

Open Living & Dining Area

Upstairs, the main living space welcomes guests with high ceilings, natural light, and a relaxed coastal feel. Custom built-in bar-top kitchen seating provides a casual dining option, while a cozy dining nook opens to a private balcony—an ideal spot to enjoy Seaside’s charm from above.

The galley kitchen is fresh and functional, featuring granite countertops, a full suite of appliances, and ample cabinetry. Whether you’re preparing a full meal or grabbing a quick beach snack, the kitchen is thoughtfully designed for convenience and ease.

With in-unit stacked washer and dryer, custom built-ins, and a welcoming layout, Lucy’s Hideaway offers the comforts of home wrapped in the charm of a true Seaside vacation cottage.

*  5 night minimum for Summer; Spring Break is 7 nights Sat to Sat only; 4 night minimum for Winter, Spring, & Fall.  Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration.

  • Welcome tote with two beach towels, a complimentary bottle of wine, and two complimentary rental bikes for pickup at the Seaside Transit Authority
  • Personalized service throughout your stay, with starter amenities provided
  • One parking pass per one-bedroom cottage. A golf cart is considered a car. Golf carts for non-homeowners visiting Seaside are prohibited. Special circumstances and medical needs requests require a golf cart permit

We stayed at Lucys Hideaway for a week in late May. We enjoyed the house very much. Its small, a two-person place with wonderful access to the beach, the Seaside central square and all it offers. We loved going down the lane to get to the cottage, bicycling and meeting up with family and friends.

Wonderful bedroom as you walk in, plenty of storage, large bathroom and full sized washer and dryer. Then you walk up the stairs to a beautifully decorated and appointed living room room and kitchen. The location couldnt have been better for beach and town, and the owners, Kathy and Jim were lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I will definitely book here again.
