Recently updated, “A Muse In’ Paradise,” has been freshened up with new furnishings and original art throughout the cottage. A Muse has a great location close to the Seaside Chapel, the playground, tennis courts, the family pool, and a short walk to the beach. Found on the eastern side, close to Seaside Avenue, the cottage offers a traditional floor plan, design elements, and charm. Multiple private outdoor spaces complement the home, including screened porches to enjoy the outdoor tropical landscape.

The main gathering room is spacious and comfortable, offering ample seating, a smart TV, a sound system, and lots of natural light streaming in through the windows. This family room opens up to the galley-style kitchen, with abundant counter space and cabinetry for storage. A pass-through window from the sink looks into the dining area that comfortably seats six. The dining table is adjacent to an additional back den and game area. This sunny spot also has a television and an additional table. During cooler weather, guests enjoy the warmth of the Vermont cast iron gas stove in this cozy back den of the cottage. Finally, a full bath on the first floor also houses the washer and dryer.

All three bedrooms are upstairs. The cheerful primary bedroom includes a king-sized bed, TV, private bath, and its own screened porch with plush furniture that overlooks Forest Street. One guest room includes bunk beds and a twin bed with an additional trundle; and the second guest room has a queen-sized bed. These two bedrooms offer a common screened porch that overlooks a wooded backdrop. Down the hall, these guest rooms lead to a shared full bath, or they may utilize the first-floor full bath.

* 5-night minimum Spring, Spring Break and Summer; 3-night minimum; Fall 2-night minimum Winter. Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration.

  • Only 1 parking pass per one-bedroom cottage and 2 parking passes for two-bedroom and larger homes are issued. A golf cart is considered a car.
  • Golf carts for non-homeowners visiting Seaside are prohibited. Special circumstances and medical needs requests require a golf cart permit.

This house was perfect for our summer family vacation. We were able to utilize all the bedrooms and loved spreading out in the downstairs space. The location was perfect for getting to our beach access, to the Square, pool and fitness center, and Seaside Chapel.

We loved our stay and would stay here again. This quiet location was a delight compared to previous rentals on the square. The walk to town/ beach/pool was easy. The home was very accommodating for 3 adults and 1 child-plenty of space to sprawl out and relax.
