Teacher’s Lounge is one of the most featured and beloved cottages in Seaside. It has everything you’ll need for a comfortable getaway. This amazing 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home accommodates up to 14 guests! There are both first- and second-story balconies on Teacher’s Lounge — the ideal place to go to enjoy the bright sunshine along with your morning cup of joe.

Step inside and you’ll be instantly enveloped by a spacious open living area featuring towering ceilings. There’s more than enough seating for everyone (and even a queen sleeper sofa). Watch a movie on the flat-screen TV or just enjoy each other’s company.

There are several couches and chairs to visit from in the living area which is situated off the open dining area that comfortably seats 8. There is ample room for families to visit and stay connected while cooking dinner. There is an updated kitchen with all stainless steel appliances and a comfortable breakfast bar that seats four directly across from the dining table. Off of the kitchen is the first screened-in furnished porch that overlooks the side yard complete with a hammock.

A roomy queen bedroom with its own private bath can be found on the first floor. Head up to the second floor to find 3 more bedrooms: another queen, a king primary suite, and a custom bunk room with three built-in twin bunks to sleep six in all! The queen room is large and comfortable with lovely sea colors and high ceilings. In the king primary suite, you’ll have your own full private bathroom with a double vanity.  Off of the second-floor bedrooms is a furnished open-air porch with treetop views.

The additional perks of this cottage include an outdoor shower, a charcoal grill off of the downstairs porch, and a washer and dryer on-site. You’ll even have access to a fitness center, swimming pool, tennis, and pickleball courts.  Teacher's Lounge is conveniently located close to the family pool, park, and a short walk to the beach. 

Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration. 5-night minimum Spring, Spring Break and Summer | 3-night minimum Fall | 2-night minimum Winter

  • Golf carts for non-homeowners visiting Seaside are prohibited. Special circumstances and medical needs requests require a golf cart permit.

We spent Thanksgiving week in this very comfortable home and had an amazing time. The location is fantastic, an easy walk to everything. Plenty of sleeping space and comfortable beds. The kitchen is a little small but totally adequate for our needs, including preparing a small Thanksgiving meal. It really felt like home for us and I'd happily stay in Teacher's Lounge again.

This is a lovely home to stay in for a vacation! The floor plan is excellent for a large group with a bedroom being downstairs and several upstairs. The bunk room is perfect for lots of kids. It was very clean when we arrived and Brigitte was so helpful. She made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. This home's in a great location. It's easy to walk to the church, town center, adult pool, and park. It's an easy walk to the beach, too. It also has a nice porch where we enjoyed our morning coffee. I'd definitely stay here again!
